Larger through Mission
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 29:19
One might find that we use the words Mission and Evangelism interchangeably at times. That is because we believe that the Mission of the Church is Evangelism. The word "Evangelism" comes from a Greek word that is most often a participle or a word in English that ends with "ing" it would literally be translated "Good Newsing". Well if we said that all the time people would laugh but we believe in it.
It is our conviction that we are called to "be", "say", and "do" the Good News of God and that in doing so the Church will grow larger to the Glory of God.
What is the Good News? The Good News is that God loves you and seeks you out in Christ Jesus - for a more detailed statement click here.
Ultimately the mission of our congregation is to see that more people know of this love!
