Become A Member

Before you can become a member of any church there are a few things that must happen. One you are likely to become a believer in God and Jesus Christ first (although the order of things is often different), then you will find you like the people at a church, then you will ask to become a member. Each level of commitment marks a deepening in relationship.

We are all family when we are adopted by God through faith in Christ. But eventually we make what we call a covenant with a particular branch of the family (we call it a church). These are the folks that you commit to go through thick and thin with – it’s an amazing new relationship that might last a lifetime. You may never realize how important this commitment will be until you live in it for years and years but you may need it right now!

So first you need to become a Christian – here’s one way of talking about it:
